4KIDS Leadership

4KIDS Executive Team

Kevin Enders - 4KIDS President

Kevin Enders—4KIDS President
Kevin Enders is a foster and adoptive father that has been a part of the 4KIDS “Tribe” for over ten years. He and his wife Michelle attend Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale where they first heard about the need to care for the modern-day orphan. God confirmed it in their hearts, and they became licensed foster parents in 2007, and later adoptive parents to two beautiful children. Kevin and Michelle are committed to raising their five children, and serving the needs of the fatherless, together.

Prior to joining 4KIDS, Kevin was the Senior Vice President of Retail & Consumer Services Clients in the USA & Canada for Softtek Integration Systems. He has over 29 years of business experience in technology, retail, wholesale, hospitality, brand building, and global sourcing, in addition to tremendous success at building and empowering teams to achieve great performance. With 15 years of Fortune 100 experience, combined with 10 years of entrepreneurial passion and success, Kevin brings a very unique and valuable set of experiences and skills to 4KIDS, and is excited to use this business expertise and his personal journey of fostering, adopting, and advocating for kids in crisis in his new role at 4KIDS.

Kevin is committed to using his passion and drive for the 4KIDS mission, and has a deep personal love and compassion for the forgotten children. His hope is to propel the vision of a home for every child to new and God ordained heights. Read Official Announcement

Mat John - 4KIDS Director of Programs

Mathew John, B.S.—4KIDS Executive Vice President
While working as an intern with the Department of Juvenile Justice in 1995, Mat interacted with many children who just had too much time on their hands, no direction in life, and no support system. He saw that with a little effort, many kids were able to shift priorities and make positive changes, and he’s been working with children and families ever since.  Mat joined the 4KIDS staff in late 2000 and has been privileged to oversee all daily operations of the ministry, has been actively involved in staff growth from 20 to 90, budget growth from $1 million to over $5 million, and played a significant role in the growth of foster homes in Broward and expansion into Palm Beach County.  Mat is currently responsible for executing all 4KIDS strategies, and serves as the Vice President and Treasurer of the 4KIDS Board of Directors.  Mat and his wife, Spring, have been medical foster parents and have adopted three medically fragile children, two sons and one daughter.

Tom Lukasik - 4KIDS Executive Director

Tom Lukasik—4KIDS Vice President of Community Engagement
Since 1994, Tom and his wife Linda have fostered more than 50 children and have learned the importance of “being there” for children experiencing the trauma of being removed from their family. Tom was a founding member of Churches United for Foster Care, served on the inaugural Board of Directors for the Heart Gallery of Broward County, was appointed to the Florida Governor’s Faith-based and Community-based Advisory Council in 2008, and served as the Chairman of that council from 2012 to 2014. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Coalition for Children Foundation. In 2013 Tom and Linda were selected as Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s (CCAI) Angel in Adoption™ Tom was later appointed to the Palm Beach Community Alliance in 2015. Additionally, Tom has spoken at churches throughout Florida and the country, as well as the White House on bringing the Church and State together to take care of the Modern-Day Orphan (the foster child). One of Tom’s life-long goals is to bring the Church Community together to “be there” for foster children.

Katy 4KIDS

Katy Mills4KIDS Vice President of Communications and Culture
Katy has been serving on the 4KIDS team since 2003. Her heart for the orphan began to grow when she became involved with an inner city program for at-risk mothers while in college, where she served as a mentor, birth coach, volunteer coordinator, and community outreach director. She graduated from Taylor University with a degree in secondary English and Speech Education and Communications. Shortly after, she and her husband Aaron became house parents at 4KIDS’ His Caring Place maternity home in 2003. After serving as a house parent to more than 35 teen girls, Katy became the Community Relations Director for His Caring Place, and then the 4KIDS Director of Public Relations as the community storyteller and event director for 5 years. As project manager for the 4KIDS location expansions, her passion for development and construction guided the building of the His Caring Place maternity home, SafePlace Broward, SafePlace Palm Beach, Treasure Coast location and the Home for 4KIDS headquarters. In her current role, Katy’s mission is to create advocates for children and families in crisis through innovative communications and events, and to influence a workplace ministry culture where individuals can thrive in their passion and calling to change the story, one child at a time.
