Behavioral Issues in the Home

Our family support staff is available to work with foster parents and their foster children to help children manage their behaviors. In-home and out-of-home services are offered to maintain a positive placement experience for the foster family and their foster children.

Continuing Education Courses

Our licensed foster parents are offered a wide variety of free continuing education courses to meet re-licensing requirements and to gain additional parenting skills. Course topics include identifying abuse and neglect issues, working with children at varying developmental stages, foster care and the public school system, dealing with difficult behaviors, and adult/infant/child CPR. Navigating the Foster Care System

After you become a licensed foster parent, a support specialist will visit your home and assist you in accessing services for you and your foster child. With years of experience working in the foster care system, our support specialists will guide you through the legal aspects of foster care and are available to empower you to effectively work within the state system.
